Philadelphia 201 Hotel has valet parking only at a flat rate of $44. A nearby less expensive parking option is the GATEWAY PARKING GARAGE, located at 1540 Vine Street, with entrances on Spring St. & 16th St. The rate at this garage is $18 for up to 10 hours.

Several hundred members from the hosting organizations will head to the former Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown for the annual Real Estate Economic Forecast Luncheon. The 2019 outlook will be presented by Tom Jackson, Manager and Principal Economist with IHS Markit's US Regional Services. Mr. Jackson will discuss the economic forecast for Pennsylvania, consumer and business spending, economic conditions and its impact on business and insight and analysis on a regional basis.


Speaker: Tom Jackson - manager and principal economist with IHS Markit's US Regional Services

Tom Jackson is manager and principal economist with IHS Markit's US Regional Services. Tom produces the economic forecasts for Pennsylvania and several Midwestern states, and oversees various aspects of forecast delivery to clients. He also contributes to consulting projects related to the US Regional outlook across the nation. Tom presents and discusses the IHS Markit economic outlook with many clients, and has discussed current economic topics with several media outlets, such as CNN, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and numerous regional newspapers and other media outlets.

Mr. Jackson came to IHS Markit through WEFA, Inc., working out of the company’s Philadelphia office. Prior to joining the US Regional Service, Mr. Jackson spent several years with WEFA’s Agricultural Services, where he was responsible for forecasts of the major crop and livestock sectors, as well as for the farm income forecast. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Agricultural Economics from The Ohio State University.
